Start the holiday cheer early this year by celebrating the opening of the new Ashley River Blue Trail boater access at Bacon’s Bridge! A ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by a group float to the Dorchester Boat Club for a midday oyster roast. Revelers are encouraged to deck their paddle craft and themselves in holiday splendor! Prizes will be awarded to the most festive participants.
Cost: $15 (through November 26th) / $20 (thereafter)
Included: Shuttle service prior to ribbon cutting, secure parking at Dorchester Boat Club, oysters, hot dogs, and local craft beer courtesy of Homegrown Brewhouse. Ribbon cutting ceremony is open to the general public at no charge.

Shuttle Instructions: To utilize the shuttle, drop your boat and gear at the access site at 200 Reniken Rd., Summerville, located adjacent to Bacons Bridge Road (Hwy 165) 0.5 miles south of Dorchester Road. Then, hop in your vehicle for the 5-minute drive to the Dorchester Boat Club located at 148 Old Dorchester Trail, Summerville. Park your vehicle and grab the shuttle for the ride back up to the access site and your boat. First shuttle departs at 8:30 AM.
